Matthew Logelin
Matthew Logelin was born and raised in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Logelin met his wife Liz Goodman when they were seniors in high school. They maintained a long distance relationship while in college at St. Johns University and Scripps College. After college he became project manager at "Yahoo!". They later decided to settle down in Los Angeles, California. Logelin married the woman of his dreams, and had a beautiful baby Maddy. Then just 27 hours later his world was turned upside down.
When this is supposed to be one of the most happy times in his life, it is the saddest time. After this tragic event, he decided to write, " Two Kisses for Maddy"; a memoir of loss and love. Logelin wrote this memoir to tell people about his experience and how heart broken he was, yet how he had to take care of his growing family.
" Two Kisses for Maddy" is the only book that Logelin has written. It has been nominated for Goodreads Choice Awards: Best Memoir & Autobiography 2011. Logelin still continues to write a blog, http://www.mattlogelin.com/ . On his blog he tells that he talk about "adult themes" such as sadness, loss, and death, but he also talks about his daughter and there life together now. Logelin also has a page dedicated to what happened if you haven't read the book and the birth of Madeline. Now Matthew and Madeline travel the world together, going as many places as they can possibly go.
